About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Controls to lead and manage our Project Controls function comprising a growing team of over 70 specialists who work to ensure strategic alignment between project execution business growth and client engagement.

The Head of Project Controls is responsible for overseeing project performance metrics cost control risk management and scheduling while playing a crucial role in expanding our business portfolio and strengthening client relationships.

As the head of the department you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency and contribute to the companys longterm vision.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement project control strategies aligned with corporate objectives to enhance business growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define shortterm and longterm business goals for project controls and overall project management functions.
• Lead the preparation of project controlrelated proposals and presentations for business acquisition and client engagement.
• Develop and implement best practices for cost estimation forecasting earned value management (EVM) and resource allocation.
• Optimize the use of digital tools and technology to enhance project control capabilities and reporting efficiency.
• Lead mentor and develop a highperforming project controls team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain project controls frameworks including cost management scheduling risk analysis and reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate project performance reporting providing insights to stakeholders for informed decisionmaking.
• Monitor and mitigate risks ensuring adherence to budget schedule and scope constraints.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Economics Engineering Project Management or a related field is preferred
• 15 years of experience in project controls cost management and scheduling
• Strong technical leadership of teams in the delivery of projects focused on delivering for the Client.
• Strong knowledge of project control methodologies tools (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project SAP) and financial forecasting techniques.
• Experience of working with the USA Canada UK&I ANZ and/or ME will be highly valuable.
• Experience in working with design teams located in different countries and ability to gain client confidence and trust through strong technical communication skills. 
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
