Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE :
You will assist the Cost Accountant in planning studying and collecting data to determine costs of business activity.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Assisting in monthend closing activities related to product costing.
- Assisting in simulating the estimated product costs with the productivity projects.
- Support in analyzing actual manufacturing cost and preparing monthly reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- To prepare variances and s analysis on a monthly basis.
- Assisting to conduct physical inventories and monitoring cycle count programs.
- Assisting in analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports.
- To support ad hoc projects and reporting.
- To advise fixed assets requestor on the proper timeline to capitalize the fixed assets assets useful life etc.
Qualifications :
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- 2 4 year(s) of working experience in Costing .
- Experience in Product Costing and Financial and Planning is required.
- Experience in an ERP system preferably in Oracle or SAP is required.
- Experience from Manufacturing is preferred
- Strong data analysis skill and detail oriented.
- SelfInitiative and motivated is adaptive and able to work independently with ambiguity and changes.
