Your Role as Art Teacher:

Deliver Inspiring Art Lessons Teach engaging art lessons to students of various age groups helping them explore different mediums techniques and artistic styles.
Foster Creativity and Expression Encourage students to experiment take creative risks and develop their own unique artistic voices.
Prepare and Plan Develop creative lesson plans and a diverse curriculum that inspires and challenges students at all levels of ability.
Promote Artistic Skills Teach key art skills such as drawing painting sculpture printmaking and digital arts encouraging students to hone their craft.
Support Individual Development Provide personalized guidance to students nurturing their artistic growth and helping them express themselves confidently.
Collaborate with Staff Work alongside other teachers to support students academic and personal development and contribute to the schools wider extracurricular activities.

Who Were Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching art preferably in an independent school setting.
Passionate About Art A genuine passion for the arts with the ability to inspire and engage students in creative learning.
Creative & Inspiring A creative approach to teaching that fosters an engaging and handson learning environment.
Skilled in Multiple Art Forms A solid background in traditional and contemporary art techniques with the ability to teach a variety of media and disciplines.
Empathetic & Supportive An understanding and patient teaching style capable of guiding students with varying levels of ability and fostering confidence in their work.
Strong Communication Skills The ability to work effectively with staff students and parents to support students artistic and academic development.
An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
