Job Description
Electrical Engineer
Location: Orlando FL
Fulltime (permanent)
MustHaves
- Electrical Building Construction Experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Proficiency with Revit.
- Ability to maintain confidentially and protect privileged client information and documents appropriately.
- As part of a design team the Electrical Engineer will assist in the preparation of construction drawings for projects including but not limited to the following systems: Lighting Power Distribution Information Technology (Voice and Data) Access Control Electronic Safety and Security including Fire Alarm for Commercial Institutional and Public Facilities.
- Duties include the design of complete systems from conception to construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Prepares project layouts and construction plans; assists in the various design elements to complete a project system component or system with other team members with clear and specified objectives involving conventional types of plans surveys investigations structures and/or equipment.
- Assists in the preparation and maintenance of complete project documentation to include plans specifications and engineer estimates including the collection assembling and organizing of project data.
- Assists with proposals including bid documents project reports studies and other documentation.
- Assists with preparations for and attends preconstruction and construction coordination meetings internal project meetings planning meetings and client meetings.
- Nights and weekends are generally not required but may occasionally be necessary with little or no advanced notice.
