Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Natural/ADABAS Developer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Natural programming language and ADABAS database systems.
- This role involves the design development and maintenance of missioncritical applications using Natural and ADABAS technologies.
- Design develop test and maintain applications using the Natural programming language.
- Work with ADABAS database to design optimize and manage data storage retrieval and processing.
- Write and maintain efficient and scalable code to meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve issues related to Natural/ADABAS applications.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization for ADABAS.
- Work with business analysts and project teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards best practices and security protocols.
- Perform system integration and interface design with other platforms.
- Create and maintain documentation for code design and system architecture.
- Provide support for production environments and assist with troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate applications with existing systems.
- Proven experience in developing applications using Natural programming language.
- Experience with ADABAS database systems for data management development and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of database management including ADABAS data structures indexing and query optimization.
- Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting Natural/ADABASbased applications.
- Solid understanding of system integration and interface design.
- Familiarity with mainframe environments and development tools.
- Knowledge of COBOL DB2 or other similar technologies is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CICS z/OS or similar mainframe tools.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Proven experience in developing applications using Natural programming language. Experience with ADABAS database systems for data management, development, and maintenance. Strong understanding of database management, including ADABAS data structures, indexing, and query optimization. Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting Natural/ADABAS-based applications. Solid understanding of system integration and interface design. Familiarity with mainframe environments and development tools. Knowledge of COBOL, DB2, or other similar technologies is a plus.
