Senior On-Premises DevOps Engineer

Our client is a famous tech company that among other products also creates beautifully designed and engineered audio and video products backed by the artificial intelligence analytics and insights to take you far beyond mere connectivity and let you be seen and heard with incredible clarity.

We are looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer that would join existing Platform Engineering Team to work on improvement and development of internal onpremises developer platform. We hope you can bring your expertise and contribute to both the maintenance of the existing functionalities and new feature development. A sense of ownership and proactivity is more than welcome.

This is a hybrid (remote/office) position. Mostly there is no frequent need to exchange the equipment and hard dependency on office space but the account team comes two times per week to satisfy project needs and make sure that social part is not being missed.

At our offices youll be working with topnotch engineers in the team who will be in charge of helping you grow and provide support and guidance. You would be a part of an Agile team and have the opportunity to use different tools and technologies. No oncall unannounced or unpaid overtime. 

You would be surrounded by many DevOps Engineers in Serbia and even more globally we wont ever leave you hanging. 

In addition you would have access to a wide variety of most popular elearning platforms (Udemy Coursera A Cloud Guru PluralSight OReilly) internal guided trainings lectures and bootcamps (both local and global).
 

Qualifications :

Key requirements:

• 7 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering
• Experience with containers (Docker dockercompose)
• Experience with Jenkins. Familiar with JCasC and JobDSL
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Knowledge in Python Bash
• Understanding of version control systems like Git or similar
• Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM KANBAN).
• Good problemsolving skills and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Intermediate English proficiency at least
• Educational background in computer science or equivalent

Nice to haves: 

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault
• Knowledge in Ansible
• Virtualization experience (Proxmox)
• Knowledge in Grafana influx dB Prometheus
• Team/Technical leadership experience
