Your Role as a Biology Teacher:
Teach Engaging Biology Lessons Plan and deliver exciting and accessible biology lessons that inspire students to understand the natural world.
Foster Critical Thinking Encourage students to develop their scientific skills through inquirybased learning and problemsolving.
Support All Learners Use differentiated teaching methods to ensure that every student regardless of ability is fully supported.
Assess and Monitor Student Progress Regularly assess students learning providing constructive feedback and tailored interventions to help them succeed.
Create a Positive Learning Environment Cultivate an inclusive supportive and stimulating classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive.
Collaborate Across Departments Work with colleagues in the Science Department to create a cohesive and inspiring curriculum.
Who Were Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Biology at secondary level.
Strong Subject Knowledge Indepth knowledge of Biology and a passion for teaching the subject.
Commitment to Inclusivity A desire to work in an environment that values diversity and caters to students with varying needs.
Innovative and Adaptable Able to differentiate lessons and use creative approaches to engage all students.
Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills Collaborative with a commitment to working together to ensure the success of every student.
An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
