Are you an inspiring and enthusiastic Physics Teacher with a passion for igniting a love of science in young minds We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our innovative Science department in a forwardthinking academy in Hounslow.

About the Science Department:

The Science department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for science. We foster a culture of inquiry and encourage students to develop their critical thinking and problemsolving skills through handson experiments and investigations.

About the Role:

  • Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources including experiments demonstrations and technology.
  • Assess student progress set targets and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the departments curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Foster a love of Physics in students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physics.
  • Demonstrates a passion for teaching Physics.
  • Has strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
  • Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
