Your Role as a Music Teacher:
Deliver Inspiring Music Lessons Teach music theory performance composition and practical skills to students at secondary level engaging them with a variety of musical genres.
Promote Creativity & Artistic Expression Encourage students to explore different musical styles and techniques fostering a love for music and selfexpression.
Lead Musical Ensembles Direct school bands choirs and other musical groups providing students with opportunities to perform and showcase their talents.
Assess & Monitor Student Progress Track student development and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
Create an Inclusive & Positive Classroom Build an environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and explore music in a supportive setting.
Contribute to ExtraCurricular Music Activities Lead or support music clubs performances and events that extend students learning and creative experiences.
Who Were Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Music at secondary level.
Passion for Music A deep enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students to reach their musical potential.
Creative & Engaging A dynamic and innovative approach to teaching that captures students interest and fosters their love of music.
StudentCentered A commitment to supporting every students musical journey and helping them grow both creatively and academically.
Collaborative Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within the schools music department and across the school community.
An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
