About The Role:
As a Security Engineer at Flower you will play an important role in further safeguarding our systems and operations. Collaborating closely with the Security Office Engineering Office and individual tech teams you will ensure that our infrastructure is both secure and aligned with industry best practices. You will help the company proactively prevent potential issues while effectively detecting and responding to any incidents that might occur. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource for colleagues and make sure Flower has the necessary insights and processes in place to address both current and upcoming security threats. You will have the possibility to shape the role according to your interests while making a meaningful impact on the security of the organization.
What Youll Do:
- Implement and manage both static and dynamic code analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities and ensure code quality.
- Design and implement improvements to secure build and deployment processes reducing risks in software delivery.
- Develop detection rules and alerts and create streamlined incident response processes to address security threats effectively.
- Review refine and enforce best practices for infrastructure configurations to ensure robust security.
- Support engineers in adopting secure coding principles throughout the software development life cycle emphasizing a shiftleft security approach.
- Analyze code and system designs for vulnerabilities ensuring adherence to security standards.
- Identify and prioritize initiatives to enhance the security posture of the organization.
Who You Are:
- You are driven by the mission of protecting critical software and infrastructure always staying one step ahead of emerging threats.
- You have a strong passion for automation and handson experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
- You have proven experience securing cloud infrastructure and are wellversed in established security frameworks and standards.
- You are skilled in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python Go JavaScript SQL or Bash.
- You take initiative drive projects and see your work through from start to finish.
- You are fluent in English and can clearly convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- You work well with others and are able to collaborate across an organization.
- You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- You hold at least a bachelors degree in IT computer science or equivalent practical experience. We also want you to to haveadvanced education or training in security.
Location
Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Sdermalm just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage inoffice collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
