Technician(Electrical or Electronic) Minneapolis MN
Shift: 1st shift
Pay Rate: $34.70/Hr. on W2
This would be a Contract position to begin with a possibility of an extension.
US Citizenship or permanent resident status is required for this position.
Job description:
Client in Minneapolis MN is seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in its Electrical Lab. This position will support fabrication of Micro & Nano electronic products and support equipment including assembly test inspection troubleshooting rework and repair.
Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment electrical assembly tools and hand tools. Specific skills include:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication assembly test with near zero defects.
- Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude.
- and JSTD001 or have knowledge of these requirements. Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes meters etc) and generate test report data.
- Able to work as part of a group or team.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Preferred skills include
- Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design fabrication and test improvements.
- Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience
- Troubleshooting of electronic electrical systems
- Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMAA620 Class 3 IPC610 Class 3 and JSTD001 or have knowledge of these requirements
Work Experience Required:
2year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks either in a production or prototype environment.
