Job Summary:
The Senior Finance Associate will play a key role in managing financial operations reporting budgeting and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires a strong understanding of financial principles analysis and business strategy to support decisionmaking and drive financial performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate finance accounting and financial planning preferably within the automobile industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Assist in preparing financial reports forecasts and budgets to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and improvement opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance.
Accounting & Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting including monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts manage financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Work closely with auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with financial regulations.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Monitor company expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Identify costsaving opportunities and recommend financial efficiency improvements.
- Support departments in financial planning and expenditure tracking.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations tax laws and internal policies.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
- Work with external auditors tax consultants and regulatory authorities as required.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management investors and stakeholders.
- Liaise with banks financial institutions and other external partners.
- Support the finance team in strategic projects and financial modeling.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. A Master s degree or professional certification (e.g. ACA ACCA CFA) is a plus.
4 7 years of experience in finance accounting or related fields preferably in the automobile or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting budgeting and corporate finance.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP QuickBooks or Sage).
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Strong understanding of IFRS GAAP and local tax regulations.
Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
