This is a remote position.
Job Opportunity: Copywriter (Freelance R600 per hour)
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Copywriter with expertise in marketing and translation adaptation for African markets. This role requires a deep understanding of cultural nuances and linguistic differences to ensure accurate and impactful messaging across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft and adapt marketing copy for a world leader in premium international wines and spirits for various African markets.
Ensure translations are culturally relevant and resonate with target audiences.
Work closely with translation teams to refine copy in Portuguese (Angola & Mozambique) and French for multiple Francophone African countries.
Maintain brand tone consistency and messaging integrity across languages.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling content.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting with a focus on marketing content.
Experience in transcreation localization or translation adaptation for African markets.
Proficiency or experience working with Portuguese and French translations (fluency is a plus but not required).
Strong understanding of cultural differences across Angola Mozambique and Frenchspeaking African regions.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
