Job Description
The Backend Framework and Dev Tools team provides the underlying framework runtime and tools that enables open standards based API access to business logic and data capabilities for tailoring and automating business processes and efficiently and securely moving data between systems.
We are in the process of looking for Software Architect / Senior Software Architect who are passionate on application data management & related technologies. The software engineering R&D team ensures that we deliver the intended value on time with the right quality resulting in great customer adoption and high customer satisfaction.
As a Software Architect / Senior Software Architect you are expected to:
- Provide technical leadership for design and development of software meeting functional & nonfunctional requirements.
- Ensure maintainability security and performance in software components developed using wellestablished engineering/architectural principles.
- Reengineer software solutions in line with upcoming requirements in the product roadmap.
- Ensure software quality complying with shift left quality principles.
- Conduct peer reviews & provide feedback ensuring quality standards.
- Engage with requirement owners and liaise with other stakeholders.
- Ensure software quality complying with shift left quality principles.
- Contribute to improvements in IFS products & services.
Qualifications :
- 8 years (SA) / 12 years (SSA) of industry experience in commercial software product development.
- Have strong software architectural technical design and programming skills.
- Experience in Application Security Scalability and Performance.
- Ability to envision the big picture and work on details.
- Willingness to learn and adapt different technologies/work environments.
- Hands on experience in OOP concepts and design principles.
- Experience designing and authoring REST APIs using Java / J2EE Technologies.
- Experience in relational databases & Oracle (PL/SQL).
- Exposure to ERP application development is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills along with an innovative mindset.
