Join one of the largest travel companies as a Tour Coordinator. This position is responsible for product planning and tour operation.
Essential Job Functions
Product Planning
- Analyzes market conditions to develop new tour ideas and new itinerary.
- Creates new tours in an employees assigned city or destination.
- Observes receives and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources to provide accurate information and advice to maximize cost savings and provide a high degree of customer service.
- Negotiates with clients and suppliers.
Tour Operation
- Works and maintains open communication with Customer Service team.
- Makes tour operation arrangements daily to cater to customers needs.
- Manages an itinerary and updates the tour costs in a system
Client Management
- Identifies clients needs and addresses them in an effective and timely manner.
- Manages client accounts and maintains a good relationship.
- Maintains strong relationship with clients and related parties.
Other Duties
- Seeks constant improvement more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your superiors.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to your superiors for solutions.
- Maintains good communication with your superiors office staff members and outside contacts.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Skills and Experience
- Possesses 01 years of experience in the travel industry or equivalent skills in ones expertise.
- Possesses sufficient knowledge and skills to perform daytoday responsibilities.
- Speaks reads and writes Japanese language.
Working Hours
- Normal business hours between 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- May be required to work after normal business hours and weekends.
Working Environment
Work can be performed remotely but may be required to report to the Torrance Office two times per month or as required.
