Responsibilities

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales and production
Presentation: Create presentations that include concept illustrations and samples
Qualifications
A bachelors degree in fashion design textile design or a related field
Proficiency using design software programs
Knowledge of fabrics colors and styles
Understanding of textile production processes
Strong drawing and illustration skills
Patience for extended work hours
Fashion awareness
Interest in color concepts and preferences
Textile designers can work in both industrial and nonindustrial locations. They may specialize in a particular area of the textile industry.
