Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


Planning and scheduling material/production, assure that the shop has the necessary materials, documentation, and tooling/equipment to meet required manufacturing/production levels.
Coordinating material input/output, managing material shortages, managing material for farm out.
Identifying and reacting to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.
Providing effective scheduling and implementation of all programs based on the Master Schedule, cycle time, shop capacity, hardware / tooling availability, and status to schedules.
Monitoring supply and demand misalignment using planning system, and collaborate with manufacturing sources to implement corrective action plans.
Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional groups to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, manpower issues, and shop capacity.
Analyzing and measuring the current production status and identify problem areas that inhibit full schedule realization.
Maintaining the integrity of the MRP system.
Updating project team with delivery dates for open orders.
Project and Task Planning:
Develop Plans and Schedules: Create detailed plans outlining project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Break down complex projects into smaller, manageable tasks and define the sequence of activities.
Resource Allocation: Identify the resources (personnel, materials, equipment, etc.) needed for each project and allocate them appropriately to ensure the project stays on track.
Timeline Management: Set realistic timelines and ensure that tasks and projects are completed on time. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to avoid delays.
Budget Planning: Develop budgets for projects or tasks, ensuring that all expenses are considered and that the project stays within financial constraints.


Desired candidate profile

Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply Chain.
Have Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Have experience in production planning.
Have hands on experience using Oracle, excel and Microsoft project.
Tactical execution with a sense of urgency


Desired Characteristics:


Have APICS Certification.
Have strong interpersonal and communications skill.
Coordination and Communication:
Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with various stakeholders, including team members, clients, and management, to ensure everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines.
Liaison Between Teams: Act as a point of contact between different departments or teams, ensuring that information flows smoothly and that everyone is informed about the project’s status.
Meeting Facilitation: Schedule and lead meetings with stakeholders to discuss project updates, issues, and next steps. Document meeting outcomes and action items.
. Monitoring and Reporting:
Track Progress: Continuously monitor the progress of projects or activities. Ensure that tasks are completed on schedule and address any potential issues that may cause delays.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project timelines or success and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Proactively address issues that may arise during the planning or execution phases.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to management or clients on the progress of projects, including performance metrics, budget tracking, and any deviations from the plan. Generate reports on project outcomes and overall performance.
