Reporting to: Managing Director of Visakh Homes

Years of Experience: 10 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and resultsoriented Project Head to lead and oversee all aspects of our multicrore infrastructure development project. The Project Head will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the project within budget on schedule and to the highest quality standards. This role demands exceptional leadership strategic planning and communication skills along with a deep understanding of infrastructure project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Strategy:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan defining the scope setting realistic timelines allocating resources and managing risks.
    • Establish clear project goals and objectives aligned with the overall company strategy.
  • Budget Management:

    • Oversee the project budget ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
    • Monitor expenditures analyze variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Schedule Management:

    • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule tracking progress against milestones and deadlines.
    • Proactively identify potential delays implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team providing guidance motivation and mentorship.
    • Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Effectively communicate with and manage the expectations of stakeholders including government agencies contractors consultants and community members.
  • Risk Management:

    • Identify assess and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Develop and implement risk management plans and contingency strategies.
  • Quality Control:

    • Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with regulations and codes.
    • Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular inspections.
  • Contract Management:

    • Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with contractors subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with all contract terms and conditions.
  • Reporting & Communication:

    • Regularly report progress to senior management providing updates on budget schedule risks and issues.
    • Maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders.
  • Health & Safety:

    • Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on the project site.
    • Ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing largescale infrastructure development projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Knowledge & Skills:

    • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PMP PRINCE2).

    • Strong understanding of contract management procurement processes and regulatory compliance.

    • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proven ability to manage budgets schedules and resources effectively.

    • Ability to identify and resolve complex project issues.

    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

    • Experience working with government agencies and other stakeholders.

    • Familiarity with local regulations and building codes.
