About the Design and Technology Department:The Design and Technology Department is a collaborative team of Design and Technology Teachersdedicated to promoting handson learning. The department boasts excellent resources and a strong track record of student success. They are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to help maintain their high standards and continue fostering creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Design and Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Develop and implement practical and engaging lesson plans.
- Assess and grade student projects.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and workshops.
- Take on form tutor responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Design and Technology or a related subject.
- PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Early Career Design and Technology Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
