Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our dynamic team in StokeonTrent. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students across KS3 KS4 and KS5 encouraging them to develop a love for physical education and excel in both sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5 ensuring a broad range of physical activities are covered.
- Develop a curriculum that promotes physical fitness teamwork and sportsmanship while challenging students to improve their performance.
- Regularly assess student progress providing constructive feedback to enhance development.
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that motivates students to participate and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to support the holistic development of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Physical Education Sports Science or a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching PE at KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students in a wide range of physical activities.
