Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and challenge students across KS3 KS4 and KS5 helping them develop a love for mathematics and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for KS3 KS4 and KS5 students ensuring lessons are tailored to meet diverse student needs.
- Develop a curriculum that promotes problemsolving critical thinking and deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to actively participate and succeed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve teaching methods and share best practices within the Maths department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to adapt teaching styles to suit different learners.
