Job Description

We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our exceptional academic team in Solihull. The ideal candidate will have a love for mathematics a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment and a passion for helping students excel from KS3 to KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging maths lessons to students across KS3 KS4 and KS5.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters a deep understanding of mathematical concepts critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide tailored feedback to support individual student growth and improvement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed and develop a love for maths.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices contribute to department goals and engage in continuous professional development.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Mathematics Maths Education or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching maths at secondary school level (KS3 to KS5) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics theory and practical application with the ability to teach from KS3 through to KS5.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to succeed in their mathematical studies and beyond.
