Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of psychologists We are seeking an exceptional Psychology Teacher to join a thriving academic community in Hereford teaching students at KS4 and KS5. If youre eager to spark curiosity and critical thinking in students wed love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and thoughtprovoking psychology lessons to students at KS4 and KS5.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages students to apply psychological concepts to realworld situations.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments providing feedback that supports student growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent thought curiosity and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices improve teaching strategies and contribute to the development of the department.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians keeping them informed about student progress and achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5 level.
- Indepth knowledge of psychology theory research and practice with the ability to make these concepts accessible to students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire students and promote engagement in psychological topics.
- Experience in teaching ALevel Psychology or vocational psychology qualifications is an advantage.

- Creative and innovative in lesson planning and teaching delivery.
