Installation and Setup:
Assist with Installation: Help in the installation of systems, equipment, and machinery, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
Verify Equipment Installation: Ensure that all equipment is installed correctly and is positioned as per the design and layout plans.
Check System Components: Inspect all system components for any physical damage or defects before they are powered up or put into operation.
Testing and Commissioning:
Perform System Testing: Conduct a variety of tests (e.g., functionality, safety, performance) on equipment and systems to ensure they meet design and operational specifications.
Test Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures for testing and commissioning, documenting results and identifying any issues that need to be addressed.
Calibration: Ensure that equipment and systems are calibrated and operating within the required parameters.
Conduct Functional Checks: Verify that the system works as intended and that all parts and subsystems communicate and perform correctly.
Report Issues: Identify any issues, discrepancies, or performance failures and report them to the commissioning team or project engineers for resolution.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
Diagnose System Issues: Identify and troubleshoot problems with electrical, mechanical, or control systems that occur during testing.
Implement Fixes: Work with engineers to implement fixes for any identified problems and perform re-tests to ensure solutions work effectively.
Repair or Adjust Equipment: When necessary, assist in adjusting, repairing, or replacing equipment to ensure the system operates as intended.
- Minimum Experience: Relevant experience of a minimum of 7 years in oil and gas operations within a large organisation.
- Experienced in automated process control, programmable logic controllers, process instrumentation, and automated control systems. Well able to understand process and engineering drawings.
- Ability to read and understand applicable design drawings and documents including but not limited to P&IDs, schematics, termination drawings and logic diagrams.

Must be able to gauge the trouble shooting approach and inform immediate supervisor about the job development and must have the ability to report and explain technical issues to onshore engineers or to vendors when required.

Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Diploma in relevant discipline (Preferably in Electronics & communication or Electrical) from a recognised institution.
