OPEN POSITION: GENERAL MANAGER

Duties:

1. Strategic Planning and Goal Setting:
Developing and implementing business strategies to meet company goals.
Setting longterm and shortterm objectives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

2. Operations Management:
Overseeing daytoday operations of departments or business units.
Ensuring smooth and efficient workflows cost management and resource allocation.

3. Financial Management:
Developing and managing budgets for departments or the entire organization.
Analyzing financial performance and implementing costsaving strategies to improve profitability.
Approving major financial expenditures and investments.

4. Leadership and Staff Management:
Leading motivating and managing employees across different levels.
Overseeing recruitment training and development of employees.
Ensuring employee performance meets organizational standards.
Promoting a positive and productive work environment.

5. Customer Relationship Management:
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or complaints.
Identifying customer needs and tailoring services or products accordingly.

6. Sales and Marketing Oversight:
Overseeing sales and marketing activities to ensure growth in revenue.
Developing marketing strategies to expand the businesss market presence.

7. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensuring the organization complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
Identifying business risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

8. Collaboration and Communication:
Coordinating with other executives or departments to align strategies and goals.
Ensuring clear communication within teams other managers and senior leadership.

9. Performance Evaluation and Reporting:
Tracking and measuring operational and financial performance.
Reporting regularly to senior executives or stakeholders about the organizations progress.

10. DecisionMaking and Problem Solving:
Making highlevel decisions related to resource allocation budget adjustments and operational challenges
Addressing challenges and resolving complex issues that affect business performance


Requirements

Skills and Qualities:
Minimum Experience of 710 years in similar field/Role
Knowledge about Travel Industry and Kenya Market
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
Financial acumen and budgeting experience.
Strategic thinking and longterm planning skills.
Adaptability and ability to handle highpressure situations.
