AFRY Future Stars Trainee Project Controls

AFRY Future Stars programme consists of summer work and the suitable amount of parttime work alongside the studies. The program includes four training days which support your development.

During the training days you will learn important skills about working in the consulting business and finding your professional potential. As a Future Stars trainee you are supported by your manager and trainee network in finding your career path and developing you professionally. You will be also supported by your own tutor throughout the programme.

Work tasks are defined individually depending on the trainees situation knowledge and interests. During the programme you can also negotiate about a possibility to write your thesis for AFRY. The programme begins in May 2025 and lasts for half year to one year.

We are looking a Stars trainee to our Project Controls team!

Project Controls covers three main competences which are cost management schedule management and document management. Project controls experts are involved during the entire project lifecycle from concept studies until the end of project implementation. 

• Project Controls team consists of 40 experts working in various industrial projects at cost schedule and document management roles. 
• As an AFRY Future Star you will be working with junior engineers and senior engineers who are devoted team players and get a chance to learn from the experts.  
• We support each other and work in a pleasant atmosphere. 

Working with Project Controls team means that you will be helping the project team members deliver.

Qualifications :

Who are we looking for

You are a student in Engineering IT Natural Sciences or Business at the end of your studies (3rd5th year student). Ideally you have a year of study left at the start of the program.

You are a suitable Future Stars Trainee for our team if you have:

• Ongoing engineering/economics degree to support project control work (cost schedule document management).
• Excellent technical skills to work with MS Office related products.
• Good knowledge in English.

It will be also considered beneficial if you have: 

• Proactive and persistent attitude handson mentality good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous work experience from industrial sites.
• Good understanding of cloudbased software.
• Adaptiveness to fastpaced project environment and problemsolving skills.
