Job Description

Note: Strictly for candidates within the United States.

The Human Resources Representative will provide comprehensive HR support across the organization. This role will be responsible for managing recruitment processes onboarding employee relations benefits administration performance management compliance and maintaining a positive work environment in alignment with CiviTronixs core values. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create effective job descriptions.
    • Manage fullcycle recruitment for various roles including sourcing interviewing and hiring qualified candidates.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local universities professional organizations and industry networks to identify top talent.
    • Oversee the recruitment process using best practices to ensure diverse equitable and inclusive hiring processes.
    • Assist in conducting job market research and salary benchmarking to attract competitive candidates.
  2. Onboarding & Orientation:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring they are effectively integrated into the company culture and their respective teams.
    • Coordinate orientation sessions provide necessary training materials and introduce new hires to the firms policies procedures and values.
    • Ensure all required documentation (e.g. employment contracts tax forms) is completed and filed.
  3. Employee Relations & Engagement:

    • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees on HRrelated inquiries addressing concerns related to workplace policies performance benefits and career development.
    • Support a positive inclusive work environment through effective communication conflict resolution and proactive issue management.
    • Monitor employee engagement levels and assist with initiatives to foster a positive company culture.
    • Organize and participate in employee engagement activities and company events to promote morale and teambuilding.
  4. Performance Management:

    • Assist in managing the performance review process including tracking deadlines preparing feedback templates and supporting managers with employee evaluations.
    • Provide guidance and support on performance improvement plans and employee development strategies.
    • Ensure alignment between individual goals team objectives and overall company targets.
  5. Compensation & Benefits Administration:

    • Assist in managing employee benefits programs (health insurance retirement plans etc.) ensuring employees understand and have access to all benefits.
    • Coordinate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
    • Provide assistance to employees regarding benefit queries and updates.
    • Support the administration of compensation planning including performance bonuses salary increases and incentive programs.
  6. Compliance & Legal Support:

    • Ensure company policies and practices comply with local state and federal regulations including labor laws safety requirements and environmental standards.
    • Maintain HR records ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for recordkeeping and reporting.
    • Assist in preparing for audits or regulatory reviews as needed.
    • Stay current with HR trends industry best practices and legal requirements affecting HR processes in the engineering sector.
  7. Training & Development:

    • Support training initiatives by coordinating internal and external professional development programs.
    • Assist with tracking employee certifications and continuing education to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Help promote career development initiatives including leadership programs mentorship opportunities and skills workshops.
  8. Health Safety and Wellbeing:

    • Collaborate with safety officers to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations especially in engineering and fieldwork settings.
    • Promote employee wellbeing through wellness programs employee assistance programs (EAP) and other healthfocused initiatives.
    • Support the management of workers compensation claims and returntowork procedures when necessary.
  9. HR Reporting & Data Management:

    • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
    • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports on employee turnover absenteeism engagement and other relevant metrics to inform HR strategy.
    • Provide support with datadriven insights for HR decisionmaking and strategic planning.
  10. General HR Support:

    • Assist with the development and communication of HR policies and procedures ensuring they are in line with industry best practices and legal requirements.
    • Support HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience retention and organizational effectiveness.
    • Handle other HR duties and projects as needed depending on business priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field. Certification in HR (e.g. SHRMCP PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 24 years of experience in HR preferably in an engineering construction or technical environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of HR practices employment law and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g. HRIS applicant tracking systems).
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
    • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
    • High level of professionalism and discretion.


Pay rate: $22.00 $32.00 / hour

Location: Remote (United States Only)
