Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Civil Engineer at CiviTronix you will play a key role in supporting the design planning and execution of engineering projects contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about civil engineering eager to learn and excited to work on diverse and challenging projects alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects including site layout grading stormwater management and transportation infrastructure.
- Support senior engineers in the preparation of project plans technical drawings specifications and reports.
- Perform site inspections and assist in data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of regulatory documents ensuring compliance with local state and federal standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Assist with project management tasks including coordinating schedules budgets and deliverables.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Stay uptodate with industry best practices new technologies and relevant regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- EIT (EngineerinTraining) certification or ability to obtain within a year of employment.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles including site design stormwater management and transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with relevant codes standards and regulations (e.g. local and state environmental regulations AASHTO guidelines).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving ability.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with stormwater management systems and environmental engineering is a plus.
- Knowledge of GIS or other relevant engineering software.
- Previous internship or coop experience in civil engineering.

Pay rate: $32.00 $44.00 / hour
