Job Description
Role: DE platform engineer
Location: Remote (occasional onsite to Los Angeles CA or Seattle WA)
Duration: 4 months
Job description
- A DE platform engineer that can deploy pipelines in AWS cloud with skills in python pyspark airflow K8 and terraform.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in relevant programming languages depending on the platform technology stack (e.g. Python Java Go)
- Cloud Computing: Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP
- Containerization: Understanding of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Infrastructure Management: Knowledge of network infrastructure load balancing and database management
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines version control systems and automation tools
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Problemsolving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes
