We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented HR/Finance Assistant to support our HR and finance operations. Key Responsibilities
HR Duties
- Assist in the recruitment process including job postings CV screening and interview scheduling.
- Maintain and update employee records contracts and compliance documentation.
- Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
- Coordinate training and development programmes ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Handle employee queries regarding policies benefits and payrollrelated concerns.
- Monitor attendance records leave requests and absence tracking.
Finance Duties
- Process invoices expenses and purchase orders.
- Assist in payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Maintain financial records and assist in budget tracking.
- Reconcile accounts and support monthend financial reporting.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding payments and invoices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an HR and/or finance role ideally within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and financial administration.
- Familiarity with employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
- Experience with accounting or payroll software is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
