Job Title: HR/Finance Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented HR/Finance Assistant to support our HR and finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and enjoys a mix of administrative and financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

HR Duties

  • Assist in the recruitment process including job postings CV screening and interview scheduling.
  • Maintain and update employee records contracts and compliance documentation.
  • Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
  • Coordinate training and development programmes ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Handle employee queries regarding policies benefits and payrollrelated concerns.
  • Monitor attendance records leave requests and absence tracking.

Finance Duties

  • Process invoices expenses and purchase orders.
  • Assist in payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Maintain financial records and assist in budget tracking.
  • Reconcile accounts and support monthend financial reporting.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding payments and invoices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an HR and/or finance role ideally within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and financial administration.
  • Familiarity with employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
  • Experience with accounting or payroll software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
