Join our Data Science team and help shape the future of mobility! We leverage data to optimize core business processes from revenue management to strategic fleet steering. Our team designs develops and maintains cuttingedge machine learning models optimization solvers and simulation tools directly influencing critical business decisions. In this role you will play a key part in understanding customer behaviour and fleet optimization supporting strategic fleet steering and purchasing decisions. If youre excited about applying data science to solve realworld challenges wed love to hear from you!
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- Lead the data science efforts behind planning and optimizing SIXTs rental car fleet.
- Guide and mentor a team of 23 data scientists to deliver highimpact solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders helping them leverage data for strategic decisionmaking.
- Develop explainable longterm demand forecasts that drive fleet planning and investment strategies.
- Build optimization and simulation models to enable datadriven fleet steering decisions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding business engineering and productto bring your solutions to production.
- Effectively communicate your insights to both technical and business stakeholders.
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- You have strong background in Data Science Machine Learning and/or Optimization.
- You are proficient in Python and cloud platforms (ideally AWS).
- You have experience in with machine learning models in production.
- You have Passion for learning decision intelligence and solving complex business problems.
- You have excellent stakeholder management and data science evangelism skills.
- You are fluent in English comfortable working in a multinational environment.
- Big Plus: Proven experience in Revenue Management and/or Operations Research.
