Job Description
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Labster you will be instrumental in leveragingMachine Learning models (with a focus on LLMs) to enhance personalized adaptive AI tutoring in immersive learning experiences. Our next Machine Learning Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing deploying and integrating models that tailor the educational content effectively thereby contributing significantly to Labsters mission to empower 100 million students globally with personal AI tutors that dramatically advance equal access to highquality immersive science and healthcare education.

Responsibilities
Design LLMbased Personal Adaptive Education: Benchmark compare and utilize existing opensource Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop LLM solutions for personalized adaptive learning experiences. Leverage educational data sources including academic research student feedback and interactive learning metrics.
Machine learning development of AI tutoring: Build and help set direction across the entire machine learning development process to implement machine learning algorithms in production including exploratory data analysis data modeling feature engineering model training and tuning testing deployment and monitoring to enable LLMbased personalized adaptive AI tutoring.
Work closely with the Data Team: Join a top team of Data Analysts and Engineers who will collaborate with indepth analysis and help you integrate your work within the existing data platform and pipelines.
Collaborate with Educational Experts and Developers: Work alongside educators software engineers and other data professionals to develop a platform that supports personalized adaptive learning and immersive educational experiences.
DataDriven Product Improvements: Work with Data Analysts on analyzing relevant educational and internal data sets and provide insights. This includes analyzing learning patterns student performance metrics and content effectiveness to ultimately enhance our educational solutions.
Stay Abreast of Generative AI Developments: Maintain awareness of the latest Machine Learning developments including generative models and natural language processing and integrate these where appropriate to enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Machine Learning Computer Science/Engineering Applied Mathematics or a related field preferred but not required. Experience can replace the educational requirements.
Proven experience in AI/Machine learning particularly in using and training Large Language Models.
- Experience in deploying and integrating Machine Learning Algorithms in a software development lifecycle (SaaS and/or Open Source).
Experience with Neural Networks Text models LLM models a plus.
Familiarity with educational technologies and immersive learning environments is a plus.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and collaborative skills.
Strong communication abilities.
