I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Education Agency requires the services of 1 Software Developer 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 3 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Education Agency.
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Education Agency and may include preselection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Education Agency will pay no fees for interviews or discussions which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
The Software (IAM) Developer develops software solutions for the agency's single signon security gateway application and the integration of webbased systems. Responsibilities include administering and supporting identity and access management systems applications and configurations. Assignments involve working with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA) IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) and the ISVA Federation module. The developer must have seniorlevel experience with Java EE (servlet JSP) and be familiar with CI/CD process. Daily tasks require completing assignments with one or more of the aforementioned software components while collaborating with the project team customers product support team peers and management teams. The role involves investigating problem areas and preparing and installing solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming. With 8 or more years of experience the developer relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals independently performs a variety of complicated tasks and is expected to demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/ Preferred Experience 8 Required Software development with Java EE 3 Required IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) 3 Required IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA) 3 Required IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) 5 Preferred Experience administering and supporting an IAM system built on IBM software 5 Preferred Experience with Red Hat Linux. 5 Preferred IBM WAS 5 Preferred IBM DB2 1 Preferred Previous state experience is preferred
