Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and help build maintain and optimize WordPressbased websites. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development customization and optimization. You will work closely with designers content creators and marketers to create highperforming userfriendly websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop customize and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.

• Optimize website performance speed and security.

• Ensure responsiveness and crossbrowser compatibility of websites.

• Implement and troubleshoot WordPressbased solutions including custom themes and plugins.

• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate thirdparty services into WordPress sites.

• Manage website migrations backups and updates.

• Collaborate with designers and content teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional websites.

• Perform regular site audits to ensure SEO best practices and accessibility compliance.

• Debug and troubleshoot website issues efficiently.

• Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends technologies and WordPress updates.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of past projects.

• Proficiency in PHP HTML CSS JavaScript and MySQL.

• Experience with WordPress theme development child themes and plugin customization.

• Strong understanding of frontend technologies including Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS.

• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.

• Experience working with page builders such as Elementor Divi or WPBakery.

• Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques (e.g. caching minification CDN integration).

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git GitHub or Bitbucket).

• Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce website development (if applicable).

• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with headless WordPress or JAMstack architecture.

• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React Vue.js) is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (e.g. AWS DigitalOcean or Cloudways).

• Understanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG compliance).

• Experience with API integrations and automation tools (Zapier WP REST API).
