Job Title: Software Manual Engineer
Location: San Diego CA
Duration: 612 Months

Must Have :
- Experience in Instrument testing
- Direct Experience with Hardware
- Exposure to Mechanical Troubleshooting
Requires Skills:
- Experience in manual software testing including test case creation execution and defect tracking
- Experience with standard software test/QA methodologies (functional integration regression testing etc.)
- Basic understanding of the Linux operation system
- Experience with applications interacting with hardware (motion control fluidics imaging etc) or a strong interest in learning these domains
- Comfortable working with version control systems (e.g. Git) and project management tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Ability to systematically diagnose issues in a complex hardwaresoftware environment
- Capable of reviewing logs to analyze system behavior and reproducing defects under varying conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to document test results and communicate defects effectively
- Ability to work closely with developers hardware engineers and other stakeholders in a fastpaced crossfunctional environment
