Job Description
Position: CFS Head (Full Time)
Ready to relocate at Nhava sheva (JNPT) Navi Mumbai
Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (Logistics/Operations/Supply Chain Management/International Business)
Export Import Certification is Must
Experience: 15 Years of experience in CFS operations; including 5 years of experience in Heading CFS.
Skills: The candidate should be well versed with compliances under Customs Act and Rules and he/she should be able to coordinate with Regulatory Authority
Job Profile:
- Managing the overall activities of the CFS as Independent Profit Centre head including business development.
- Provide the Strategic & operating direction for the CFS ensuring that the productivity and efficiency standards are met.
- To oversee Manpower planning in the CFS and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Designing and developing MIS for effective and efficient management.
- Liasioning with customs departments and all stake holders for hassle free solutions.
- Prepare and execute CFS Budget & Business Plan and drive the same
- To work on strategies for quick turnaround of the Import/Export containers for maximum utilization of Yard / Warehouse space.
- To set and ensure strict execution of the SOP.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with the Consignees / Shippers / CHAs. And generate revenue by marketing Import / Export cargo.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with the Port/Custom Authorities and quasijudicial authorities.
- Developing New Business for maximum Input and Out flow of the Import / Export cargo.
- To work on various methods to reduce cost better turn around and reduction in per TEU cost.
- To work on various New Developments to have cost effective Operations and at the same time to ensure best Services to the clients.
- Negotiations of various Contracts.
- Close interaction with various External & Internal departments in order to achieve high level of professional and hasslefree services to esteemed clients.
- Ensure adherence to QSHE
- People Development/ Ensure professional development of employees
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the management
