Job Description
What its all about:
As a Data Scientist you will be driving data innovations for Visa Consulting & Analytics working closely with clients and various Visa departments to create and develop Europewide data solutions for card issuers.
What we expect from you day to day:
- Support consulting projects with data analytics.
- Understand client needs and develop datadriven solutions.
- Engage with clients alongside consultants.
- Develop proof of value and business case simulations.
- Test solutions within local data science teams.
- Improve existing data solutions.
- Facilitate solution sales and develop collateral.
- Ensure data science output quality and accuracy.
- Develop new solution ideas for diverse clients.
- Prioritize new solution development with stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
What were after:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)
Masters/Ph.D. in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or related field.
Proven experience in a data science role.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Excellent clientfacing and communication skills.
Strong experience with data science tools and programming languages such as Python R and SQL.
Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
Experience or willingness to learn data visualization tools (Tableau PowerBI).
Experience in the payments/financial sector is a plus.
Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
Fluency in English.
