Reporting To:CFO
Location: Bristol UK Hybrid 2 days in office per week
At Beam were leading the charge in offshore wind innovation through AI and robotic automation. As we scale we need a Financial Controller to build a strong financial foundation that supports our ambitious growth.
Youll lead financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance ensuring transparency and efficiency across the business. Working closely with the CFO senior leadership and external auditors youll implement strong financial controls optimize cash flow and provide strategic insights that drive our financial success.

Objectives & Responsibilities:
At Beam our dynamic environment means your role will evolve. Upon joining your objectives will include:
First 30 Days:
- Review existing financial processes reporting structures and compliance requirements.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders across finance and operations.
First 60 Days:
- Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and risk mitigation.
- Enhance reporting efficiencies and support strategic forecasting efforts.
First 90 Days & Beyond:
- Drive cash flow optimization and cost management strategies.
- Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Lead audits regulatory reporting and financial transparency initiatives
You should apply if you have:
We know that great candidates come from diverse backgrounds if you dont meet every requirement we still encourage you to apply.
- ACA ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant.
- 5 years of financial management experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance.
- Experience in audits financial controls and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (we use Xero).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
