Job Description

Grand Mercure Mysore & ibis Styles Mysuru are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the vibrant city of Mysuru India. As a key member of our leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth across both properties.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share for both Grand Mercure Mysore and ibis Styles Mysuru
  • Lead and motivate a highperforming sales team setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching and development
  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and optimize pricing strategies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients corporate accounts and travel partners
  • Collaborate with marketing revenue management and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives
  • Prepare and manage annual sales budgets forecasts and performance reports
  • Represent the hotels at industry events trade shows and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads
  • Implement innovative sales techniques and leverage technology to enhance the sales process and improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies while driving a culture of excellence in customer service

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Business Administration or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
  • Minimum 710 years of experience in hotel sales with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated experience in managing sales for multiple hotel properties preferably in both premium and midscale segments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team
  • Excellent strategic planning and revenue management capabilities
  • Advanced negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships with key clients and partners
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management systems and sales analytics tools
  • Indepth knowledge of the hospitality industry particularly in the Indian market
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Willingness to travel as required for business development and client meetings
