Job Description
- Develop manage and update BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection.
- Ensure compliance with projectspecific BIM execution plans and company standards.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using software such as Navisworks Revit or BIM 360.
- Coordinate with other trades (architectural structural electrical etc.) to resolve design conflicts and ensure integration.
- Provide training and support to junior BIM modelers and engineers on BIM workflows and software tools.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Construction Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical BIM coordination preferably in construction or MEP industries.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Navisworks AutoCAD and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Experience in clash detection coordination and resolution.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE NFPA and local building codes.
- Excellent problemsolving communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Dynamo scripting or automation in BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with fabrication modelling and detailing.
- Knowledge of COBie IFC and other BIM interoperability standards.
- Certification in BIM or Revit (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional).
Additional Information :
- Ability to work using modeling softwares such as ( Revit AutoCAD Plant 3D )
- Ability to use clash detection softwares such as Navisworks
- Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
- Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
- Ability to use Microsoft office applications
