Job Description
Are you passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces Villa Haven is seeking a dynamic and experienced Garden & Landscaping Manager to lead our landscaping team and enhance the aesthetic appeal of our property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain the gardens and landscaped areas of Villa Haven ensuring they are visually appealing and healthy.
- Oversee all landscaping projects from planning and budgeting to execution and maintenance.
- Manage the landscaping team providing guidance training and support to ensure highquality work.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the island including roads and beaches ensuring an attractive environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of resort supplies ensuring efficient operations and organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to align landscaping projects with Villa Havens overall vision and strategy.
- Implement sustainable landscaping practices promoting environmental stewardship.
- Schedule regular maintenance and inspections of gardens and outdoor spaces to ensure they remain in top condition.
- Develop and manage budgets for landscaping projects and supplies ensuring costeffectiveness.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in garden design and landscaping.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in garden design landscaping or horticulture with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of plant care pest management and landscape maintenance practices.
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness in outdoor areas such as roads and beaches.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in landscaping or horticulture are a plus.
