or other items. They work on production lines and use tools to connect
parts together.
Responsibilities
Read instructions: Assembly operators read blueprints schematics and
assembly instructions
Measure and mark parts: They measure and mark parts to indicate where
they should be assembled.
Assemble parts: They use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
such as connecting clamping fastening or securing them
Operate machinery: They operate design machinery and power tools and
may modify machinery settings
Troubleshoot: They find technical solutions to issues and troubleshoot
problems
Meet production goals: They work to meet production goals and ensure
products meet quality standards
Report work status: They report their work status and prepare the required
documentation
