Job Description
Job Description – Senior Product Development Engineer
Role:
As a Senior Product Development Engineer at Indra you will take a leadership role in driving the design development and optimization of Indra’s ElectroX Reactor and its supporting ecosystem. In product development you will oversee projects from concept through to commercialization ensuring excellence in every stage of the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
1.
Lead and manage endtoend product development initiatives.
2.
Oversee complex engineering challenges using a first principles approach.
3.
Optimize designs by using finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation techniques.
4.
Evaluate and select appropriate manufacturing techniques.
5.
Ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing.
6.
Act as a key liaison between R&D production quality assurance and other departments facilitating crossfunctional project execution.
7.
Lead project meetings technical reviews and stakeholder communications ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
8.
Lead preparation of comprehensive design documentation standard operating procedures (SOPs) and detailed project reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Bachelor’s or Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
2. 68 years of relevant experience in product development design engineering or a related field.
3. Strong proficiency in CAD & Simulation software.
4. Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to solve complex engineering problems using a first principles approach.
5. Excellent project management and leadership abilities
