Job Description
- Welcoming customers and processing their orders.
- Utilizing strong product knowledge to promote and boost sales.
- Monitoring orders to avoid delays and ensure smooth service.
- Maintaining a clean and organized counter area.
- Ensuring every customer leaves satisfied with their experience.
- Addressing customer inquiries at the counter.
- Interacting with customers respectfully and courteously.
- Preparing quotations and assisting with customer queries.
- Keeping trade counter specials and brochures updated.
- Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Managing back orders and providing regular followups.
- Informing customers about stock availability.
- Regularly reviewing and monitoring all issued quotes.
- Providing support as needed.
Requirements
- Senior certificate or NQF4 Equivalent
- Experience in a consumer / retail environment
- Must come from an Electrical background
- Excellent attention to detail
- Maintain good time management
- Good communication and Interpersonal skills
Passed credit and criminal checks S.A. Citizen or valid work permit for S.A. At least 1 - 2 years of experience as a Cashier Diploma/ Certificate in Finance/ Accounting would be advantageous
