Job Description:
We are looking for a Rebate Analyst to oversee the rebate process ensuring accurate calculations timely postings and proper reconciliation of rebaterelated financials. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis accounting and rebate management along with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle large datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
Accrual Calculation & Posting: Ensure timely accrual calculations and rebate postings to prevent lastminute adjustments during monthend close.
Sales Volume Analysis: Monitor and track sales volume highlighting any deviations that impact rebate calculations.
GL Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of specified General Ledger (GL) accounts related to rebates.
P&L Analysis & Audit Support: Conduct customer rebate P&L analysis and provide necessary support to auditors during financial reviews.
Rebate Payment Processing: Ensure accurate calculation and full settlement of rebate payments.
Receivables Monitoring: Verify outstanding rebate receivables and notify the sales team about any delays in payments.
Disbursement Tracking: Collaborate with the Treasurer to verify rebate disbursement timeframes and escalate any deviations.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements in rebate management.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to review and optimize rebate structures offered to customers.
