Job Description
As the Quality Head you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of die maintenance operations in our aluminum die casting facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency reliability and longevity of our dies to support uninterrupted production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Casting Processes and Materials Understanding various casting processes such as sand casting die casting and investment casting is crucial
- Also important is familiarity with the materials used in die casting
- Quality Control Documentation and Implementation A Quality Manager must be able to review client QC requirements and ensure that project quality control documentation meets contractual requirements. They should also be able to define the best inspection methods for inprocess and production workers
- Quality Management Systems (QMS) A good knowledge of QMS documentation is needed
- They should also be able to plan maintain and optimize supplier quality management systems
- Technical Expertise Quality Managers should be able to read 2D drawings and use CAD CAM software.
- ProblemSolving and Analytical Skills Detecting anomalies and guiding a team on how to resolve them as well as formulating a resolution strategy are important skills for a QA manager
- Analytical skills are also needed
- Knowledge of Quality Standards and Methodologies Quality Managers should have excellent working knowledge of 8D Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing IATF 16949 & ISO 9001:2015
Requirements
- Inspection and Measurement Adjusting dimensions inspected on inprocess inspection records developing overlays and gauges and procuring new tools are all important
- Good Manufacturing Practice Ensuring all quality data is accurate relevant and managed per Good Manufacturing Practice is essential
Responsibilities:
1. Over all rejection in plant.
2. Customer complaint for both PDC & VMC.
3. Final inspection good part delivery as per schedule.
4. Gauges / instruments calibration as per schedule.
5. Maintain Xray labs records monthly as per requirements.
6. Incoming material inspection and s disposal as per plan.
7. Inprocess inspection/setup approvel as per plan through control plan.
8. Layout / spc reports to submit as per plan.
