Background:
So we have built this rocketship. We call it Wolt. And were on a mission to make cities a better place to live with the help of technology. We started in 2014 in Finland and with a customerobsessed mindset we have now reached more than 30 countries. We are best known for our food delivery platform yet we are on a journey to become an everything app so you can get almost anything in your city delivered to your doorstep in less than an hour. Weve grown significantly in the last few years and were just getting started.
We launched in Germany in 2020 and have since grown our national coverage to more than 60 cities whilst expanding our offering and including new verticals such as groceries. As we keep expanding this new vertical were looking for a dedicated Marketing Manager. You will develop and execute tailored marketing strategies aimed at improving partner visibility driving growth and increasing customer engagement on our Wolt platform. This role will play a key part in our growth in Germany.
To accomplish this youll need to work both strategically as well as operationally and be a datadriven doer whos not afraid of getting your hands dirty. Youll work closely with the commercial account management team our partners as well as the local marketing team in Germany. This position is based in Berlin and some travel within Germany might be required. Youll report directly to the Regional Head of Marketing (New Verticals).
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy Development:
Develop and execute marketing strategies customized for the most popular restaurant partners on the Wolt platform.
Create comprehensive 360 marketing plans including advertising campaigns across various channels (paid owned earned) promotions and cobranded initiatives.
2. Campaign Planning and Execution:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote partner restaurants on the Wolt platform.
Collaborate with the local marketing team and our media agencies to create various advertising content including digital ads social media promotions digital out of home email marketing & more.
Manage the marketing budget for our exclusive partners ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
3. Partnership Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at our exclusive restaurant partners.
Collaborate with the partners marketing and operations teams to align strategies and achieve common goals.
4. Brand Consistency CrossPromotions CRM and CoBranding:
Ensure that partner restaurants maintain consistency within the Wolt app aligning with our brand guidelines.
Explore opportunities for crosspromotions with other brands or influencers.
Collaborate on cobranded marketing initiatives to drive growth and customer engagement.
Support the creation and setup of various customer engagement tools like newsletters push notifications inapp popups and local incentive campaigns.
5. Performance Reporting Data Analysis & Insights:
Forecasting the impact of marketing strategies on the P&L and assessing their ROIs.
Prepare regular performance reports highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement which can be shared internally and externally with stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and promotional efforts across Woltowned and external channels.
