Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MidLevel Software Engineer with a backend focus to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role you will be responsible for developing testing and maintaining highquality software solutions while ensuring adherence to best programming and architectural practices. You will play a critical role in delivering secure and scalable applications collaborating with crossfunctional teams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test and maintain highquality software solutions following best programming and architecture standards.
- Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and alignment with business needs.
- Identify troubleshoot and resolve software issues by applying programming best practices.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
- Implement and enforce security best practices through threat modelling and build pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
- Handle incident response efforts coordinate with teams and perform root cause analysis for complex issues.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to enhance and improve operational processes.
- Contribute technical expertise to business initiatives helping shape organisational objectives.
Technical Skills Required:
- Backend Development: 5 to 9 years of solid experience in Java 11 and Spring Boot.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in cloud platforms preferably Azure.
- Databases: Strong understanding of databases with preference for Cosmos DB.
- Frontend Development: Familiarity with React.js with the ability to handle UI tasks independently when needed.
- Data Processing: Handson experience with BigQuery for data processing.
- CI/CD: Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
- Containerisation: Proficiency in containerisation technologies such as Docker.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Required cloud certification: Programming or Cloud certifications preferred.
