Job Description
We are looking for a General Manager to join our clients team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of operations identification and analysis of risks creation and modification of procedures and documents related to policies etc.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a company which provides international insurance solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of operations.
- Identification and analysis of risks.
- Determination of premium rates.
- Claims management & investigations.
- Management of actuarial reviews.
- Policy administration and review.
- Reinsurance.
- Review of financial information including management accounts.
- Commission and brokerage fees administration.
- Management of insurance data for reports.
- Administration and liaison with insurance premium tax compliance service providers.
- Premium collection Reinsurance premium collection and payments.
- Creation and modification of procedures and documents related to policies.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Broad captive and general insurance background.
- Proven leadership skills and people management experience.
- Fluency in other languages other than English especially German is advantageous.
- Willing to travel initially for training and ultimately for operational business reasons.
EDUCATION
An ACII qualification is required.
WORKING HOURS
Flexibility in starting time from 06:30 till 09:00 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break daily.
