Job Description

Job Title: Delivery Assurance Field Representative

Location: Phoenix Arizona

Job Description:

  • This position is for an experienced Supply Chain Delivery Assurance Field Representative (DAFR) to join a growing aerospace team.
  • As an essential part of the supply chain team you will play a critical role in ensuring that suppliers deliver aerospace components on time to meet operational goals.
  • This role involves coordinating with suppliers to assess risks conduct audits track performance and drive supplier improvement strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate procurement and shipment of critical aerospace components with supplier teams.
  • Monitor and document operational challenges providing regular status reports to leadership.
  • Drive supplier accountability to meet delivery schedules.
  • Conduct supplier rate and performance assessments tracking progress over time.
  • Identify supplier risks and support mitigation plans.
  • Recommend and implement supplier improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
  • Implement corrective actions for supplier process gaps.
  • Present supplier performance updates action plans and risks to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with import export and procurement regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of supply chain management and procurement.
  • Experience in contract management.
  • Exposure to project or program management.
  • Knowledge of engineering and quality processes.
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience building positive supplier relationships.
